I had started a new career in a IID, I made it through the channel and to my patrol grid. I did my patrol and proceded back through the chanel to look for targets off east England. It had been heavy fog throughout the whole patrol and I hadn't had any opportunity to sink a thing.
Then I get the "Ship Spotted!" message - never a good thing in heavy fog

ALARM!!!

That doesn't look good at all... The explosion on the water is our sub

We are still alive so far, and the DD was stupid enough to cut infront of us. Flooding's mostly under control.

Now I know why I have 7 warships at close range closing on my position....

Another reason... If the fog weren't here I'm sure i could of taken at least 1 good victim.

All's well that end's well I guess. We made it home on christmas day with only a badly scortched hull for our troubles
