I'm currently working on a Mod to achieve just that - an Upto date version of SH3/4 to replace the minimalistic failings of Sh5.

Its still in Beta version, and requires some more work to complete.
Currently working on the officer orders like in Sh3 and should have a new version released soon (Maybe even an official release

).
