roger that. Let's not bother him on this then, he's obviously dealing with a lot of much more important RL issues. The omnimeter stuff can certainly wait.
I've tried searching online and surprisingly this site (subsim) is the only place where there's any real mention of the omnimeter (I'm including the links to the historical naval site). You'd think there'd be more out there somewhere but nothing.
