Just a few comments.
Joe.. get the imagezoom extension for Firefox, with a single rightclick move you can resuce the large image, its a very handy ext.
The option "reduce image to fit in window in both FF and MSIE works like a charm (the way it is intented to, it only works for images shown standalonem not un forum posts or inside other html tags.
Wordwrapping is also a problem with the BBcode tags "code" and "quote" if the text parsed exceeds a certain number of chars with no linebreaks.
Most forums has rules regarding posting images, and generally the max is 800x600 or 640x480. Some forums also have an auto reduce function, Im sure there must be a phpBB mod to do the same.
If not a simple modification to the php file that does the conversion from BBcode "img" to html <img.should do the trick.
<img="" style="width: 640px; height:480px />
Opera may be free to download, but can you be sure its adfree as they claim?
Opera may be free but is it opensource so we can see if their ads are really gone?
Opera may be free, but so is Firefox and Firefox is opensource
