Thank God somebody said it. Marines don't mind being confused; it comes with the job, the haircut, and the mandatory 40-point IQ reduction, but they
hate being confused with the Army.
I had a hard time seeing what was going on with the camera bouncing everywhere like that, but I'm proud of the way those men conducted themselves in the face of enemy fire, Marines or no. They were moving and communicating, and those are two of the most essential actions to take in a combat situation, particularly in an ambush.

If you had been screwing around with a camera after the
first shot and your MOS wasn't military journalism, I'd have screamed very unpleasant things at you.

You have a sector of fire (however improvised) and at least three other people who are depending upon you to cover their backs and/or flanks. That's no time to be playing......uh.....somebody famous for pictures.
