CTD 30-40km from any harbour
Hey all,
Very close to giving up on this, hoping someone can throw some light on my issue before I resort to playing solitaire...
Had a mild addiction to SH3 a year or two back, decided to give SH4 a crack as was cheap on Steam. Got my brand new rig sorted, got SH4 working, mods loaded etc. Issue is whenever I approach any harbour (allied/jap either way), I get a CTD (APPCRASH) bout 30-40km out.
Figured it was something corrupted trying to load, probably to do with mods (using GFO + Real Environ + RSRDC), so disabled one by one, still happening. Disabled all mods, verified steam game files cache, tested by starting american career and heading straight from pearl harbour to midway, 100% every time bang CTD 30-40kms out. Have fiddled with graphics settings, makes no difference whatsoever.
Please help, was quite enjoying my first foray into the Pacific...
