Again... why was this not considered aforehand, they knew the new cap was going on, they knew BP was making progress, they knew the 'plan'. It is only when the plan comes to fruition they say "Oh wait hold on a minute lets not be so hasty". At best its piss poor planing and an utter lack of foresight. Another familiar pattern.

Also it begs the question of why in the hell are they drilling in such a precarious place?
