Still no luck on the "RTC" problem. In regards to the time compression, I believe you can alter the settings in your main.cfg in Docs/SH3/data/cfg. Here is the setup I use:

[TIME COMPRESSION]
TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=1024
CriticalDamage=1
CrewEfficiency=1024
AirEnemyDetected=0
SoundEffects=1024
CharacterAnim=1024
EnemyDetected=0
RadioReport=1
Particles=1024
PrayState=1024
HunterState=1024
3DRender=1024
Maximum=1024

Sometimes the Land Prox gives me trouble but I have learned to be aware of my navigation
