You see, I'm an a-hole in either case because if I arrest the guy - I'm an a-hole in somebody's opinion! And if I don't arrest the guy, somebody else will call me an a-hole because they thought he should be!
Like I said before, it's a thankless job but somebody's got to do it!
And yes, I make
arrests for a living, Catfish! That's what I get paid to do. Hence the words
LAW ENFORCEMENT. My job is to
ENFORCE the law. How can I do that without making
arrests?!
Even a simple traffic ticket is a form of
arrest. If you don't sign the ticket, the Officer will have no choice but to take you to jail.
