I have been successfully "avoiding" my first name for over 30 years. Neither that nor my middle name as it appears on my birf certiferkut have
officially existed since I lost a wallet a quarter of a century ago and had to replace my Soc Sec card as a result.
It ain't in the phone book, it ain't on my tax forms, even my best friends and employers don't know what it is.
I like to think the mystery is part of my charm.
