If you already have the game, then yes, why not?
If you gotta buy it, then I'm not so sure.
The SH4 U Boat game does not seem
quite as fully developed as SH3 +
(insert supermod name here).
Operation Monsun (U Boat Supermod for SH4),
is very well done.
But you gotta remember, Lurker has had to do the whole thing pretty much on his own.
GWX (other mods are available!) had a dedicated team working on it for years.
Plus if you look in the downloads section, or mods forum for SH3 you notice a
whole bunch of additional mods that have been tailored to add onto GWX.
SH4 UBM never got that sort of love. Which is a shame.
If you really want a decent appraisal of the comparisons/differences between OM and GWX, I'd ask Sailor Steve when he logs on.
He is running multiple careers in both, so is in a better position than me to answer your question.
