I look at the previous saves and try loading the one that was dated earlier last night (presumably the beginning of my 2nd patrol?), however it turned out to be the beginning of my first patrol, and was just dated wrong.....
Should I not be saving at sea (I've always been on the surface when saving)? Should I always save when I come back to port and then reload before going out on a mission? Am I doing something else wrong? I checked the GWX manual, and didn't see anything that would explain my troubles. Should I not trust the dates on the saves?
It's just frustrating, never getting more than 1 patrol in on a career. I needed to vent a bit.

Save,check so the are nothing in sight,and if you have sunk a ship so don't save quit direct, wait untill you have free space to avoid issue when you try to load next time.If there are problems in dates I can't hardly say "no trust" so I got no answer to you in this case,I never have problem with saved mission,BUT ONLY SAVE on surface....
