Searching for u-boats at slow speed and going to flank to return to the convoy / reach the next search position makes sense to me. |
But this DD was on station while I was observing him because I had seen him earlier there. He went he!! bent for leather back
to where the merchants were?? He would not do that unless
there had been a threat of some kind !!
