Truth is stranger than fiction. We had confirmation that there's at least one large alligator in Lake Worth a while back. Another escaped "exotic pet", it would seem. My roommate works for a charity that cares for big cats, most of which come from homes where they were adopted as pets and were then abandoned because they became unmanageable. One would think that a person wealthy enough to afford such an animal would not be so stupid as to try to keep one as a pet. Apparently not
