Avg Joe, if the image size on a page exceeds your screen res, long lines of text are gonna go off the right side of the screen on every forum I've ever been to.

1 "oversize" image is all it takes, and NONE of the posts on that page will wrap properly. You'll have to scroll back 'n forth with the arrows or the drag bar.

OK, you're talking about 1024x768 images, and your res is 1024x768, but consider that there is a "border" along the left edge of the topic with the poster's avatar, location, etc. That pushes the image off the right of the screen, so you encounter the wrapping problem.

Try going up to 1280x1024 and viewing one of the "problem" topics, I bet it will wrap fine!

One forum I've been on has a rule, NO images over 800x600, to avoid that problem...

As far as a FireFox option to fit the image to the window, this might do it:

Tools/Options/Advanced/Browsing - Check "Resize large images to fit in the browser window"

I think that option is checked by default, but if it is off, turn it on and see if it helps - let me know if it worked!
