It goes without saying that I'm completely opposed to this. I don't buy the national security argument, either, as I can't imagine what kind of cyber-attack would be more destructive or disruptive than shutting down the entire internet. The military has it's own encrypted internet, and the private users have god knows how many different encryptions and safeguards.
Perhaps the worst thing about this is that Obama's killswitch is linked directly to untold millions of adorable, captioned, kittens. Is that the kind of man we want in the highest office of the country? A man who wants to kill kittens?
