Almost halftime. Second very brutal misjudgement of the day: the 1:0 for Argentinia was offsides, and very clearly so. It seems to me this misjudgement has had an even greater psychological effect on the disadvantaged team, Mexico, than the missed 2:2 had for England.
Looks like Germany vs Argentinia. Not the best of memories for Germany. But who wants to become children must be capable to beat EVERY opponent.
how long before FIFA will FINALLY show the decent professionalism to include what already is well-proven standard in other team sports like hockey: the video evidence, or chipped balls? All excuses I ever heared for not going on that path were foul excuses by old men trying to prevent any change to those precious memories of theirs. To willingly invite and not prevent misjudgements of this game-deciding callibre is nothing but betrayal of the one team, and rude unfairness and lacking sportsmanship. to my knowledge hockey or american football have not suffered in excitement or legend-building just because they have the video-evidence.
