armistead ; raven 79
Personally, I have abandoned O'Kane for gutted's Solution Solver. It is more precise. In fact, it is precision to perfection.
Raven79-Words of caution. This is a very complicated game to master. Among the issues are: O'Kane attack, Cromwell attack, sonar only attack, Solution Solver method, manual targeting per Hitman's tutorial, manual targeting using the Easy Aob mod, firing aft tubes using each of the preceding methods, MoBo, avoiding aircraft detection, avoiding destroyer detection, celestial navigation, among others. Then there is Capn' Scurvy's tutorial on attacking with map contacts off. Before you tackle any of that you have to master operating your boat, reading a map, and understanding the map tools. And you have to figure out to best reposition your crew in the event repairs are needed.
Then their is the issue of each supermod and how it affect play, setting depth on torpedoes in the early war, understanding the dynamics of the TDC and meaning of the ships' dials on TDC screen.
I hope you have a lot of time on your hands.... Have fun!
