Those switches are the only way to go!
If it comes with a remote, it never turns off.
I wish there was a way I could program a switch to automatically turn off all of our computers/TVs/DVR/ and crap like that, and then automatically power them up 30 minutes before we get home.
That way we would have the instant access we like, but still are not throwing money away during the day.
