Brilliant.

The change between normal and summer time also was introduced to save energy, after the oil shock of the early 70s. But that turned out to be a myth that did not work. We know today that switching to summertime during summer does not change general energy consummation of a nation.

Something tells me that this sleep invitation in japan also will not have the wanted result. Maybe because people who go to bed early, tend to raise earlier, too.
