I don't have screenshots, but AMC are Auxiliary Merchant Cruisers, basically merchants converted to warship with some improvised armaments.
If i'm not wrong in the game they look like Rawalpindi Troop transports, but you can distinguish them because they have the Warship contact icon (diamond instead of square).
Quite a lot of them spawn from Loch Ewe.
