I have never heard about using hooks for damaging subs. Hooks can only be used in quite shallow water and in that case it must be a lot easier to just use deapthcharges. Anyone else heard about DD's using hooks as antisubwarfare method?
A submovie I can recommend is "Das Boot" a must see
