I've been watching these air races for a while now and from my observations its only a matter of time before one of em packs it in or worse crahes into a crowd. But I guess thats why pepole watch.
This one appears to be legit, there was a one making the rounds claiming the pilot was flying around with one wing sheared off. Turned out to be an RC plan.
