Funny, while I agree with your pendulum theory, I think the pendulum has been pulled too far right
Compared to Dutch politics even Obama is relatively rightist.
I think you should never let religion control education. Let people make up their own minds about what god they should believe in, if any. And definitely don't educate it at public schools. There are people there who've got different beliefs, you know
