I consider myself as a musician, I have my guitar on my lap as I write this (I was trying to work out chet baker's version of 'Almost Blue'), but I don't have anything to share with me playing anything
I've played bass guitar since I was 19, and acoustic guitar from about 23.
Guitar is something I do just for me, whilst bass is my choice if I'm playing with others.
As for what styles... for bass, just about anything really, so long as it has a bit of melody to play. The only examples of stuff I play on my guitar are a couple of tunes I have spent an
age learning to play fluently:
(still some work with this one - intonation is not right)
(I play it a tiny fraction slower as it gets to be a bit of a mission when I've not practised for a while)
I don't really play as much as I used to. Not much motivation right now apart from this 'almost blue' thing with my acoustic.
