... no time for dwelling on that now... we've gotta get ourself out of this shallow inlet and back into deep water... RUDDER HARD RIGHT, AHEAD STANDARD... the ship seems to find the right heading... and in a few minutes we are heading out...

RADAR SIGNALS DETECTED!!!... sounding 11 meters... i choose to take er under,... we dive... slowly... leveling off at 17 meters 1 meter to spare...
i make sure the scope is down, and we wait... heading slowly east, we wait for the depth charges... but nothing happens...
we maintain this course for a few more hours, and as the sounding beneath us increases, we descend to 50 meters and turn south again...
destination... the tip of South American... or maybe Antarctica... whatever it takes to get away from the Allied planes...
besides... i've never seen the Antarctica before...
