The same reason they believe that Nvidia is the best video card, or ATI is, or that Coke is the better beverage over Pepsi. It's what they know and enjoy.
When they say "We need GWX for SH5" they aren't saying "RUB and TMO and NYGM and all those others suck, we only like GWX!" they are saying "I want the same experience I enjoyed when I used GWX in SH3!"
