Sad thing is, I'd go for that, as long as the patch brought improvement.
My way of thinking: I spend
a lot of time on SH. An extra $10 divided by a lot of hours is very little.
I can blow $10 easily on my other hobbies... a gallon of glow fuel for my radio controlled aircraft can cost $20-$30 (it lasts a month or so, the way I fly). I can blow through a good ebook in a couple days (~$6-$8). If I bring the wife to dinner to a decent restaurant instead of Wendy's or eating at home... there goes a lot more than $10 for a couple hours of "entertainment" (

).
I know that little phrase about throwing good money after bad, but if I knew that spending an extra $10 would bring more fixes to SH5, I'd pony up in a NYC minute.
