Look at this B&W pic. You can't tell from this pic. 
If anything, it shows the main body of the torpedo being a light metalic color (steel?) and the front a dark color.
There's also a color picture, showing a fully greased torpedo being loaded but you can't make out the color under the grease.
What was the color of the torpedoes in the movie Das Boot? I seem to recall them being green. :hmm: |
There are a whole variaty of color schemes around. Well anyway they look exactly as they do on the picture.
