He said he has some kind of limited visibility or clearness in that eye. The wider pupil could mean that lesser light than needed reaches the retina, the cause may be the same that limits his clear vision. That could hint at problems with the lense, or the "glas" inside the eyeball, or the retina itself. And that is why he should not take it easy, but should consult a specialist asap instead of asking us amateurs or waiting another couple of months.
