There was a quiet rumble that the panthers called his agent and offered him the chance to compete for a starting job - but NOT as a QB. The offer was rebuffed. *The offer was supposed for him to try playing fullback - using his weight management issues as a strength....
Will he find a spot as a QB - and if not - will he transition or leave?
Regardless -the raiders have a little bit of hope. Gradkowski isn't a great quarterback - but unless he has a major drop off - he is serviceable. Decent read ability, arm, and decision making.
