I've never served in the navy. But I grew up in the city of Plymouth, home of the largest naval base in western europe (HMNB Devonport). So I saw many ships and subs and i have even helped built and refit a few ships and subs while i was an apprentice fabricator/welder. So as you can imagine, i've been on quite a few ships and subs.
The most famous ship that I've been on ( and I'm not old enough to have helped build this one
) is HMS Victory. .
