SH3 Commander recommends when you should transfer your officers in order for them to take command of their own boats.

For me it is almost 1943 so I have decided to keep mine for the duration in this campaign. Selfish I know but I want to survive.

Maybe if there is another war and another campaign they will get their chance then.
