They are in your main SH5 files folder and your SH5 folder in My documents .
Delete the original entry and paste the new ones then save . Open in notepad . Replace anytime either in port or on patrol .

The file in
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 doesn't have any control over time compression settings. It's only the file in the second location (
My Documents) that needs to be edited.
