Ah Ha! Following installing the MEMBERS ONLY ZW German Mission 3 file it worked (sort of).
This time I still get no text for the mission briefing but the mission ran.
I noticed my sound was set to zero again so exited the mission and set it back to 100%.Re-ran mission and this time it crashed with a 'TvT is not responding' error.

Thanks for the e-mail ZeeWolf. I will now re-download the files you suggested,do a clean install and hope it works.

My,there were a lot of tanks at the start!

Frame rates were about 10-15 FPS and I still have not fitted my uber-video card.Once I have that fitted I may like to try out the 'heavy' version.
