After his duty at the front, Rudolf Strasser became an instructor in the 1st ULD (Unterseeboots-Lehr-Division). The last months of the war he spent in the Marineschule Flensburg-Mürwik. After the war Rudolf Strasser returned from captivity in March 1946, but died just four years later on 23 September 1950 in Frankfurt am Main
Spooky thing is I was born on his death day 37 years later. AAAAAAGH I'm posessed by the spirit of a long dead fictional character who I created!!!
