In theory a person could torpedo a ships using only the Hydros and sonar. As the hydros would give bearing (and a very innacurate AOB) the Sonar would give Range/Speed (Providing it is the Better sonar)
I guess if I did my calculations/observations correctly it would give me AOB and Speed then afew pings and I'd have range.
