While I've never actually been sunk by kamikazi bombers, I have had several crash on my decks before... killing my watch crew and gunners in almost all cases and doing massive damage to my sub, effectively ending my patrol. That is why I never tango with planes if I can avoid it; the risk just isn't worth it in terms of renown.
I do have one off-topic question... where did you get that type VIIC camo skin? That looks so sexy!
