Whilst I would accept it at the end of a patrol, mid patrol is not on.
That particular patrol still has a folder, but none of the "Saves" show up as an option when the game loads.

I am not sure whether you posted this prior to me responding to your email, so I will reiterate again. Resurrecting a career retired via SH3Cmdr is quite simple. Just go to the specific career data folder, open up Careers.cfg and change the last "Finished" and "WarOver" values from "true" back to "false". This reverses what SH3Cmdr does when it retires you. Your career will then be available again. To clarify, SH3Cmdr does
NOT delete any career files when it retires you, so if any of your save files are missing, that ain't because of SH3Cmdr...
To make it even easier to resurrect retired (but not dead) careers, I have added this feature to the next release of SH3Cmdr.
