The dashed sonar lines aren't impacted. These are formed using ContLine.tga, which is in the same folder as the DashLine file.
If you restore the pre-RUb version of ContLine you'll get the stock sonar lines back, but you'll also get disembodied wake trails on all contacts on the map. At that point, the assisted plotting mod is pretty much undone. Personally this hasn't been an issue, since I prefer the dashed sonar lines anyway.
