Mav87th was kind enough to post an original document (
U-Bootskunde f.U-Boot Bauart VIIC-1940) detailing the systems on the VIIC. Two of the items that caught my were these:
U-boat Torpedo and Mine Loadouts:
U-boat Flak and Deck Gun Ammo. Of note here is the fact that (1) all deck gun ammo was High Explosive and (2) total deck gun ammo count was 205 rounds, not the oft-quoted 220 rounds.
