I have experienced this, too. Though with the latest patch and some mods I think it goes away.

What also used to happen a lot in later years (1943-45) was that destroyers would be destroyed by their own hedgehogs when using time compression.

I stopped using TC while under destroyer attack so this wouldn't happen anymore, in order to have a realistic experience.
