The trolls seem to have made it their mission to bitch at everything Ubi does, no matter what it is. They released SH5 too early, and got slammed. Now they're delaying stuff to get them done right... and what do you know, they get bitched at for that, too

No one likes to be moved down on the priorities list. Avalon Hill is pulling the same stuff with their Axis&Allies franchise. Latest instalment cost a fortune and had several significant flaws (to their credit, though, they were kind enough to ship me more playing pieces and corrected documentation free of charge). After the earlier A&A games, that was a slap in the face.
The SH series is the same. I like SH5, but I've not been playing it for a while, in part because it's nowhere as engaging and atmospheric as SHIII. I do have high hopes for it, but at the same time I feel the frustration at not being centre of attention anymore.
I just hope the market swings back to simulation soon. The Modern Warfare era is getting tiring.
