I still require 2 toprs to sink most ships
Today I hit a small frieghter with one torp and surfaced to hit it with my flak gun, wanted to save my deck gun ammo for a real target. As I surfaced I was shot at! Though it was the ship, nope air craft off the port bow!

Waited foir the plane to go, resurfaced and was using the deck gun when that bloody plane came back!
Got the kill and some work for my damage control team
