Well not really, its from 1972. My mom and I were cleaning out the attic today, when she found a old box with a inch of dust on it. When we moved it into better light, the label read, 'STORAGE FOR NEW ATTIC', so it has been in the attic since we moved in like 9 years ago. I brought it down after we finished cleaning out the attic, and I opened it. Inside was some old boarding passes and stuff from TAP( I did not know airlines use to give you kits of stuff, i.e. toothbrush/toothpaste, cigs, a pillow, wipes, mask for you eyes, etc) I can not even get a pillow now without paying.

Anyways under some other junk in other languages(identified now as Swedish,German,Japanese) Then I came across this old bag, in it were some really old pictures(Pre-WWII, during WWII) that a late family friend from Switzerland took of his life back there. I put those aside and found this old looking camera, I noticed it was a SLR camera and since I always wanted one, I asked my parents like a child if I could have it. They said yes!
Anyways, after looking at it and using the all knowing GOOGLE, I found out it was an original 1972 Olympus OM-1 SLR. I was very happy, I asked my dad, and he said the family friend from Swizterland got that at the Photokina of Köln in 1972. And gave it to my dad as a birthday gift.
So now I own a 1972 OM-1 SLR with a manuel in German/Swedish/Japanese. I can not wait to use this baby.
