Same here, I was supposed to go to that same grid. But encountered a substantial amount of tonnage in a convoy. After being expended I had the choice of going home, or resupply at Vigo. I did the latter eventhough getting a full torpedo load is not really realistic. (shrugs)
Now I'm still there intercepting a convoy north bound. I think it came out of the Med. I allready killed most tonnage in it and quite a few deckgun kills, but lost all that work due to a corrupt save. (God knows how many hours realtime that was
. But it goes to show.... ALLWAYS submerge to check for nearby units!!!! I knew I shouldn't have ignored that hunch.
