I've never heard sharks make a sound either with the exception of splashes when feeding at the surface. I think the sound is more to help you find them in game more then anything else.

I would like to se Giant Squid in game. I have seen Giant Squid sucker marks on the rubber coating on current day Submarines. Would be cool if they were in game and attacked subs.
