Thanks, I went and messed with the display settings and it looks great now!
Not sure what fixed it, but I went to:
Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor
and changed refresh from 60 to 70, also went to:
Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Displays/FPD
and unchecked "Scale image to panel size" under Panel Attributes. When I fired up the game, the attack scope looked fine
Just to be sure I took a screen grab and cut out just the view thru scope, the width/height came out nice & square to within a few pixels
