+1 to that.
I used to take the time to remember my officer's names. I still remember when I lost my OOD in SH4, he'd been with me from the beginning. It really made me sad, and I had to be strong to continue on with my patrol and not load him back to life
I'm happy to say I can't remember his name anymore...so it's not having that profound of an impact on my life, which is good.
Now I find myself wishing some of my officers would get killed but don't tell anyone.
