Well playing with a carrier may sound good but you said you get bored with the iowa...You can't control the aircrafts so besides that what more value has it to offer then a destroyer?
Don't get me wrong i would love to play with the nimitz just for the look and feel of it. But it would be a huge bummer that the aircrafts sit on the deck and do nothing while i'm attacked..
